Working with different thicknesses of paint can be a rewarding experience. Paint can be dug into, moved around wet, worked with various tools - even the fingers - allowing the artist's moods and feelings to come through.

More of the artist than of the landscape. These landscapes are of a type and style that play the fine line between representationalism and the abstract.
By working both outdoors as well as in the studio I've come to a knowledged of the physicality of the paint, the abstraction of nature, and the many moods I go through during the day.
